Getting To Know You - KB3

Our Flavor of the week  - #3. Kevin Bieksa, also known as KB3, Boom Boom Bieksa, Juice, Bxa, and Sexi Beksi ( personally, i think he prefers Juice ).  Kevin plays defense behind  Henrik, Daniel & Burrows on the first line. His partner on ice, when not injured, is Dan Hamhuis aka Hammer. These 2 were one of the best defensive pairings in the league this past season and we are ever so lucky to have them.  Kevin just re-signed with the Canucks for 5 years @ 4.6m a year, which is a huge steal for us, especially after the crazy overspending that went down during the trade frenzy on July 1st.

Kevin, originally from Grimsby Ontario, was picked in the 5th round of the 2001 NHL Entry Draft by the Canucks and has been with us ever since.

Some Kev Stats -
In the 2010/2011 regular season Kevin played 66 games, scored 6 goals and got 16 assists. In the playoffs he played 25 games with 5 goals, 5 assists and 88 hits.

A few Kev Facts-
Kevins turned 30 this past June. He rooms with Ryan Kesler when on the road. His first vehicle was a black jeep.. and damn he looks fine in black ! ;)
